The Calendar is now available in PineBill. It brings everything with a date into one view — your own events plus deadlines and records pulled from across the app — so you can plan your week without jumping between pages.

What's New

Everything on one calendar

The calendar overlays five kinds of items, each with its own color:

• Events (emerald) — events you create directly on the calendar
• Task Deadlines (blue) — due dates of your tasks
• Invoice Due (amber) — invoice due dates
• Project Deadlines (violet) — project deadlines
• Expenses (rose) — expense dates

Click any item to open its details. Deadlines and records link straight to the source, so you can jump from a due date to the invoice, task, project, or expense behind it.

Four views

• Month — a full month grid for the big picture
• Week — seven days with an hourly time grid
• Day — a single day with an hourly time grid
• Agenda — a scrolling list of what's coming up over the next 30 days

Move by month, week, or day with the toolbar arrows, jump to any date, or scroll over the month grid to page through months.

Create and manage events

• Three ways to create — use the New Event button, click an empty day for an all-day event, or click a time slot for a one-hour timed event
• Full event form — title, all-day toggle, start/end dates and times, location, color, and description
• Drag to reschedule — drag any event to a new day or time slot and its duration is preserved
• Quick actions — edit and delete from the details view, or right-click an event for a fast delete

The dashboard home page has been rebuilt to give you a real-time snapshot of your business the moment you log in.

You can now add a rich footer to the bottom of every page on your invoices and estimates. Use it for legal disclaimers, return policies, bank or registration details, a thank-you note, or a small logo.

One footer system, shared across documents

The footer uses a single editor and a single set of defaults shared by both invoices and estimates — so your documents stay consistent without configuring the same thing twice.

A proper rich-text editor

Footers aren't just plain text. The editor supports:

• Title and Subtitle headings
• Bold, Italic, and Underline
• Text color for fine print and emphasis
• Links — including mailto: and tel:
• Images — upload from the toolbar or paste/drag them straight in (PNG, JPEG, or WebP up to 2 MB), then drag the corners to resize with a locked aspect ratio

Set a default, override per document

There are two places to manage it, and they work together:

• Document Settings holds the default footer that's applied automatically to every new invoice and estimate.
• The Details section of the invoice and estimate generators lets you override the footer for a single document.

Built to look right on the page

The footer renders centered at the bottom of every page, and the bottom page margin automatically resizes to fit it — so your content never overlaps the footer or gets cut off. Footer content is sanitized before each PDF is generated, and uploaded images are stored securely on PineBill.

You can now connect a Slack workspace and send PineBill notification events straight to your channels. Route each event independently — invoice activity to one channel, estimate responses to another.

What's New

• Connect Slack — Install PineBill into your workspace in a couple of clicks
• Per-event routing — Pick a Slack channel for each notification event, or leave it off
• Public & private channels — Public channels appear automatically; invite the app to use private ones

PineBill Assistant is now available from the dashboard. Use it to ask questions, create records, review business data, and move faster across invoices, customers, products, projects, tasks, expenses, payment methods, employees, and analytics.

• Voice input — speak requests instead of typing when you want to move quickly

You can now edit invoice and estimate numbers manually from the generator.

This helps when a customer requires a specific reference, when you need to match an external accounting system, or when your team already has an established numbering format.

Generated numbers still work the same way. Use Generate when you want PineBill to create the next number for you, or type your own when you need full control.

Projects and Tasks are now available in PineBill. Group your work into projects with budgets and timelines, break them into tasks, track time with built-in timers, and convert completed hours into invoice line items.

Convert Tasks to Invoices

Select one or more completed tasks and click Convert to Invoice. PineBill opens the invoice generator with each task as a line item, using the task title, date range, tracked duration, and hourly rate. Currency conversion is handled automatically when task and organization currencies differ.

Shared estimates now include customer response actions. Customers can accept or deny an estimate from the secure share page, with an optional note for context.

• Response notes — customers can add an optional note when submitting their decision
• Team notifications — organization members receive an email and dashboard notification when a customer responds

PineBill now includes notifications for important document activity. You can see when customers open invoice and estimate email links, review notification history, and control notification emails from settings.

• Email notification settings — turn invoice and estimate activity emails on or off

Expenses are now available in PineBill. You can record business costs, keep receipts attached, connect expenses to customers or invoices, and turn expenses into invoice draft line items when you need to bill them back.

What's New

• Expense tracking — add expenses with amount, currency, date, category, vendor, payment method, customer, invoice, receipt, and notes
• Receipt attachments — upload image or PDF receipts and manage them from the expense form or detail page
• Expense list tools — search, filter, sort, paginate, export CSV, and delete expenses in bulk
• Summary cards — see current month spend, year-to-date spend, top category, and missing receipt count
• Expense details — open a full expense page to review, edit, preview receipts, update notes, and manage linked records

Convert Expenses to Invoices

Use Convert to Invoice when an expense needs to be billed to a customer. PineBill opens the invoice generator with the selected expenses already added as line items.

If selected expenses share the same customer, PineBill also selects that customer in the invoice draft. After the invoice is created, the expenses stay linked to that invoice.

Invoice follow-ups can now run automatically. With Invoice Reminders, PineBill helps you remind customers about unpaid invoices before the due date, on the due date, and after the invoice becomes overdue.

What's New

• Automatic reminder schedule — send reminders 7 days before the due date, on the due date, and 7 days after the due date
• Customer-ready emails — each reminder includes the invoice number, amount, due date, company name, and a secure invoice link
• Multiple recipients — add up to 5 recipient email addresses for each invoice
• Timezone-aware sending — choose the send time and timezone for each invoice reminder setup
• Optional PDF attachment — include the invoice PDF in reminder emails when the invoice PDF is available
• Email history tracking — see reminder emails in the invoice email history alongside regular invoice emails
• Smart cancellation — pending reminders stop automatically when an invoice is paid or cancelled

PineBill's dashboard navigation has been reorganized to make the app easier to move through day to day. This update focuses on a cleaner sidebar, a central Settings hub, and a more useful Organization overview page.

A cleaner sidebar structure

The dashboard sidebar is now grouped into clearer sections:

• Overview for Home, Analytics, and Vault
• Billing for Invoices, Estimates, and Recurring
• Records for Customers, Products, and Payment Methods
• Organization for Organization and Settings

This makes the dashboard feel less crowded and reduces the amount of hunting around for setup pages and secondary tools.

Faster create actions

You can now jump into common creation flows directly from the sidebar.

Invoices, Estimates, and Recurring Invoices include quick plus actions right inside the navigation, so you can start a new document without opening the list page first.

On smaller screens, the sidebar also auto-collapses when entering generator pages so you get more working space while creating invoices and estimates.

New centralized Settings hub

Instead of scattering setup pages across different areas, PineBill now includes a dedicated Settings page that groups configuration into focused sections:

• Organization Management for Company Settings, Subscription, and Employees
• Documents for Invoice Settings and Estimate Settings
• Product for Product Categories and Product Properties
• API Access and Activity for API Keys and API Audit Logs

This gives you one clear place to manage operational settings, billing defaults, product structure, and API access.

Redesigned organization overview

The My Organization page has also been refreshed. It now works as a proper overview screen for your workspace instead of acting like another settings form.

It includes:

• A cleaner company profile card with logo or initials fallback
• Better presentation for company email, phone, address, timezone, and created date
• A dedicated Settings button that leads into Company Settings
• Team member management below the overview for eligible plans

Better route awareness across the dashboard

Navigation now does a better job of understanding where you are.

Breadcrumbs and active states have been updated so pages like Settings, Invoice Settings, Estimate Settings, API Keys, API Logs, Categories, and Properties are surfaced more consistently in the dashboard UI.

That means less confusion when moving between overview pages, setup pages, and deeper configuration screens.

You can now control how currency values are displayed in PineBill instead of being locked to a single money format.

Choose the format that fits your business

PineBill now supports five currency display styles:

This gives you more flexibility for local invoicing, international customers, and accounting-friendly exports.

Set a default for new invoices

Invoice Settings now include a Default Currency Format option. Once set, every new invoice starts with your preferred display style already selected.

That makes it easier to keep your documents consistent across your organization without reapplying the same formatting choice every time.

Override formatting per document

Currency formatting can also be chosen directly while creating or editing invoices and estimates. That format is saved with the document itself, so it stays attached to that invoice or estimate instead of falling back to a generic organization-wide display.

This is especially useful when one customer expects USD 1,234.50 while another prefers $1,234.50 or an accounting-style presentation.

Consistent everywhere customers see it

The selected currency format now carries through across more of PineBill:

• Invoice and estimate previews
• Invoice and estimate detail pages
• Recurring invoice views
• Shared invoice and estimate pages
• Invoice and estimate emails

Totals, taxes, shipping, discounts, and document amounts now use the same document-specific formatting more consistently across these views.

Adding products to invoices and estimates just got a lot smoother. Instead of jumping between dialogs and buttons, you can now do everything right inside the products table.

What changed

Type directly in the table

There's now an input row at the bottom of your products table. Start typing a product name and your catalog products appear instantly. Pick one to add it, or keep typing to create a temporary item on the spot — just fill in the price and quantity in the same row and hit Enter.

No more clicking "Add Product", waiting for a dialog, then clicking again. One row, one step.

Edit anything in place

Every field in the products table is now editable with a click:

• Quantity and price — click to change, press Enter to confirm
• Name and model — editable for temporary items you created inline
• Drag to reorder — grab and move items to change the order they appear on your document

Works on mobile

The products table is now fully usable on phones and tablets. On smaller screens, each product shows as a card with tap-to-edit fields for quantity, price, name, and model. Adding new products works the same way — type, search, and add right from your phone.

These improvements apply across all product tables in PineBill:

• Invoice generator
• Estimate generator
• Recurring invoice setup

This update brings better decimal precision throughout PineBill and adds multi-line support for invoice and estimate end messages.

Precise Decimal Input & Display

Entering prices with extended decimal places — like 0.025 or 1.005 — now works seamlessly everywhere. Previously, small decimal values could be rejected during input or display with floating-point noise (e.g., 0.02500000001). This has been resolved across the board:

• Product form — The price field now accepts intermediate decimal states, so typing 0.025 no longer gets blocked or rounded mid-entry
• Products table — Inline quantity and price inputs use a new decimal-aware component that preserves your intended precision
• Invoice & estimate previews — Unit prices display exactly as entered, without trailing noise digits

Smarter Currency Formatting

We've split formatting into two distinct modes:

This means a line item priced at $0.025 x 4,000 now shows the unit price as $0.025 and the total as $100.00 — each formatted appropriately for its context.

The improved formatting applies across invoice detail pages, estimate detail pages, recurring invoice details, the product list, and the PDF output.

Multi-line End Messages

The end message field on invoices and estimates now supports multi-line text. Add line breaks for payment instructions, thank-you notes, or legal disclaimers — and they'll render exactly as written in both the preview and the final PDF.

We replaced the "No Products Selected" empty state with a search field. You can now type a product name and add it directly — no need to open a separate dialog just to pick one item.

What changed

• The Products tab now has a search input instead of an "Add Product" button
• Clicking the field shows your most recent products right away
• Search matches against product name, model, and description
• Picking a product adds it immediately
• The full product selector dialog is still available via "Browse All Products" at the bottom of the dropdown

Not every job starts with an invoice. Sometimes you need to present pricing, negotiate terms, or get approval before any work begins. That's where estimates come in.

With PineBill's new Estimates & Quotes feature, you can build detailed, professional estimates using the same generator you already know from invoices — complete with products, customer info, payment methods, and your preferred template. Send them to your customers via email or a secure share link, track whether they've been accepted or declined, and when you get the green light, convert the entire estimate into an invoice with a single click. No re-entering data, no copy-pasting — everything carries over automatically.

What's New

• Estimate Generator — the same powerful generator you know from invoices, with products, customer info, payment methods, templates, and more
• Full estimate lifecycle — Create drafts, send to customers, track acceptance or decline, and follow up on expired quotes

You can now import thousands of products and customers at once from a CSV file, and both list pages have been redesigned for a better experience.

Bulk CSV Import

Import up to 5,000 products or customers in a single operation. Click the Import button on the Products or Customers page to open the import wizard.

The wizard has four steps:

1. Upload — Drop your CSV file or download a ready-made template
2. Map Columns — Auto-detects your column names, with manual override
3. Preview — Review your data and see any validation errors before importing
4. Import — Tracks progress and shows a summary when done

Create property definitions that match your business needs. Navigate to Product Properties in your dashboard to set up custom attributes like:

Managing large numbers of invoices just got easier! You can now select multiple invoices and perform bulk actions on them, saving you time and effort.

Select Multiple Invoices

Use the checkboxes in the invoices table to select one or more invoices. A convenient Select All checkbox in the header lets you quickly select all invoices on the current page.

When you have invoices selected, a bulk actions bar appears with the available operations.

Bulk Delete

Need to clean up old draft invoices or remove multiple records at once? Select the invoices you want to remove and click Delete Selected. A confirmation dialog ensures you don't accidentally delete important data.

Bulk Status Change

Update the status of multiple invoices simultaneously. Select your invoices, click Change Status, and choose the new status from the dropdown:

• Draft - Work in progress
• Sent - Invoice delivered to customer
• Paid - Payment received
• Overdue - Past due date
• Cancelled - Invoice voided

This is perfect for marking multiple invoices as paid after a batch payment or updating statuses after sending out a round of invoices.

You can now edit existing invoices in PineBill! Whether you need to fix a typo, update line items, or change payment methods, we've made it easy to modify invoices after creation.

How It Works

Click the Edit button on any invoice details page to open the full invoice generator with all data pre-filled. This gives you complete control to modify:

• Products and services (add, remove, or update items)
• Customer information
• Invoice details (dates, numbers, currency)
• Payment methods
• Company information
• Language and template settings

When you save your changes, the PDF is automatically regenerated with the updated information.
