You created the emerald ones. The rest came from your tasks, invoices, projects and expenses.

Most calendars only know about the things you put in them. PineBill's knows about your business: alongside the events you create, it overlays your task deadlines, invoice due dates, project deadlines and expense dates, each in its own colour. Look at it as a month, a week, a day or a running list of the next 30 days. Drag your own events to reschedule them, and switch off whichever sources you don't want to see today.

Five sources, one grid

Your events in emerald, task deadlines in blue, invoice due dates in amber, project deadlines in violet and expenses in rose.

Month, Week, Day, Agenda

A month grid for the overview, hourly grids for a week or a single day, and an agenda listing the next 30 days.

Your events, dragged into place

Start one from the button, an empty day or a time slot. Drag it somewhere else to reschedule — the duration comes with it.

Filter by source

Every source carries a live count for the period you're looking at, and the Filter button shows how many you've switched off.

Look at it however the day needs

Four views over the same information, and the events you own are yours to move.

Five sources

Your calendar already knows your business

Task deadlines, invoice due dates, project deadlines and expense dates appear on the grid next to the events you created, each in its own colour. You didn't put them there — they came from the records themselves, and they update when those records do.

  • Five sources, one grid
  • A colour per source
  • Read-only, except your events
  • Click through to the record
  • Filter with live counts

However you keep track, it's on here

Five ways people read their month in PineBill — and the view or control each one leans on.

Use cases

One grid, five kinds of date.

From a day of back-to-back calls to a month with three project deadlines in the same week.

Month view

Freelancer

Client calls and invoice due dates on the same grid, so chasing payment stops being a separate list you keep in your head.

Project deadlines

Agency

Several projects' deadlines overlaid with the team's task due dates, so you can see the week where three things land at once.

2

Consultant

An hourly grid for a day made of back-to-back sessions, with each one dragged into place as the schedule shifts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything about the PineBill calendar. Can't find what you're after? Reach out to our team.

Five things, each in its own colour: the events you create (emerald), your task deadlines (blue), invoice due dates (amber), project deadlines (violet) and expense dates (rose). Only the events are something you put there — the other four are drawn from the records themselves.

No. Task deadlines, invoice due dates, project deadlines and expenses are read-only on the calendar — they're reflections of records that live elsewhere in PineBill. You can click one to see its details and jump straight to the source record, and you change the date from there. Only your own events are edited on the calendar itself.

Three ways. Click New Event for a blank form, click an empty day in Month view to pre-fill it as an all-day event, or click an empty time slot in Week or Day view to pre-fill a one-hour timed event. A title and start and end dates are required; times, location, description and a colour are optional.

Yes — drag it to another day or another time slot and it reschedules, keeping the same duration. This applies to your own events only.

A scrolling list of what's scheduled over the next 30 days, which is often easier to read than a grid when you just want to know what's next. One thing to know: expenses aren't listed in Agenda view, though they do appear in Month, Week and Day.

Yes. Click Filter in the toolbar and choose which sources appear. Each one shows a live count for the period you're viewing, and when something is hidden the Filter button carries a badge telling you how many sources are switched off.

Six presets. The colour is optional — it's there to help you tell your own events apart at a glance, separately from the colours the calendar uses to mark each source.

Whichever you choose — Sunday, Monday or Saturday. It's set in Setup under Calendar Settings and changes the first column in Month and Week views. Only the organization owner can change it.

You'll be asked to confirm, and then it's gone — deleting can't be undone. You can delete from the event's details view, or right-click the event for a quick delete.
